GOODWILL AMBASSADORS DE BONNE VOLONTÉ
THE SINGER MAJOOS
Majoos, recently rewarded at the Katanga Awards 2018 Edition, in the category song of the year, is since January 2016 our goodwill ambassador. Very famous in the DRC and especially in Lubumbashi, Majoos integrates through his hip hop & RnB rhythms a message of love, peace and empowerment of the Congolese youth. With the BUMI children and the Majoos Happy Foundation, he released the clip “Se laver les mains” (shot in the Children’s Village of Karavia ) as part of the cholera campaign. The clip made a hit on the local channels and is rebroadcast during the outbreak period.
THE HUMANITARIAN PHOTOGRAPHER AYDIN MATLABI
Aydin has been traveling the world for a decade to tell anecdotes and stories that highlight women and children. Having worked in Southern Asia, Afghanistan, Haiti and in many countries at risk, Aydin is looking for sustainable alternatives and methods to raise funds and bring visibility to the local humanitarian organisations who fight for human rights. His last artistic project, called “Inheritance”, was produced in collaboration with BUMI and was exposed in many museums and international art festivals, and it won multiple prices for humanitarian art.
